Oh! You made it to nacht! Love everythin about facehunter!
#2 is Mogge, host of Swedish Pop Idol 2006
Oh the Swedish! (scandinavia in general)
So edgy! so careless of tradition!
SO not like the rest of erurope!!!
The woman on the corset is just making me want to puke...it hurts to see her. But everybody makes their attire as comfortable or uncomfortable as they want...Please woman don't make uncumfortable sexy...NOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
A part from a few, very few people, I think that they are all horribly dressed. Just plain horrible!
Maria: Wearing a corset is not uncomfortable if you wear it right. Getting it laced to that size means that she has been training and therefor is not really in pain. Her outfit is at least coordinated which is more than I can say for all the rest.
The corset girl came to my school in September before the swedish election to talk politics.
She seemed smart. Her style isn't for me though.
Thanks for the advise on how to wear a corset...I pass though.
I would keep in mind that "coordinated" is shouldn't be and absolute value when dressing...some might dare to say that coordinating when dressing is exactly what makes a person a follower rather than a trend setter....all the crazy different ideas in this world that make life rich...or confusing for others.
Not very nice, me hate
I live like 3 blocks from Spy Bar, I have never seen people in Sweden dress like this, never ever! where are all the stylish Swedes? that woman in the corset is just AWFUL
That's swedes for you - WHINING AND BEING MEAN AS FUCK TO EACHOTHER.
the first one you pictured looks like dita von teese... big time!
Oh my good the look awful, not like swedes at all.
La femme avec the corset est effrayante!! Mais j'adore tout le reste.
I have to say ,
they are all original and I like that,
but the fashion is just not for me ,
not a big fan of the corset either.
great.
There's a Swedish expression; "smaken är som baken"... You should all keep that in mind when you feel the need to critizise.
There must be some sort of theme-night to this party. If not I´m very surprised, this is not how i picture people in stockholm.
The girl in the first picture looks very chic though!
All of the make up in this post is fantastic.. especially the third picture, beautiful eyes.
Are you kidding me?!! these people look FANTASTIC!
Oh, I just read an article about this place! Fantastic Femmes. Looks like fun...
That Dita look-a-like is gorgeous.
the blogs of the critics here (setting apart the anonymous haters, whom i just assume to be horrible people) declare a conformistic fashion sense (i can never tell one of these mainstream blogs from the other) which sends shivers down my spine. i'm not surprised that these persons feel uneasy before expression which does not model itself after tabloid celebrities. props to the dévisageur for spotlighting the fact that swedish fashion can be so diversive.
the corset: i find it beautiful, subversive and, quite contrary to what "maria" would propose, it does profoundly question the notion of femininity itself. i guess it's not the most socially accepted of outfits as you intolerant assholes confirm.
I agree. The corset evokes a seriously visceral response from everyone. That's powerful; I love it.
Dios mio, no!
The corset... so bad
Erik, I agree about a full load of comformism from fashion blogs. People feel better fitting in than not. I call the rule of modernist formalism. I'm understand modernism, but I'm not into that.
About the corset...but going back to victorian times passing it as punk attitude...maybe if you feel it. I have heels to tell me how much health goes into punk attitude. -I'm far form a conformist, but to dialogue you have to create common points-. And corsets...are not my cup of tea...
What is exactly what "questions the notion of femininity"? restating it?... flashback?
perhaps Dali and the love for the grotesque is what the corstet is about
Oh man, I so want to go to Sweden. Or all of Scandinavia in general.
The girl in the third photo was part of Scandinavias next Top Model if I'm not mistaken... Didn't make it to the final though, partly because of a VERY bad attitude;-)
Alright,I´m a swedish girl and I can tell you that a very few people dress like that in Sweden. The most people dress not so extreme like that. Check in the opposite of Facehunter, but in Swedish, http://stockholmstreetstyle.blogg.se/
there you can see how we in Sweden actually dress!
HAHAHAHAA oh, you stupid swedish people! I'm ashamed to be one of you, or I'm not since I'm not stupid. "we don't really dress like that in sweden" no cos you probably walk around in tracksuits like other hillbillys. I dress like that, so does my friends, I like to lable our style as street-rock, hot as hell. but it's just so medelsvensson to be ashamed of creativity
hahah "street-rock"?
WOW!
fucking word on anna!
I found that stockholmstreetstyle-blogg a few weeks ago, and I litterly PUKED on my laptop!! they do NOT represent our fashionsense, they do NOT. they are just regular no-money-nothing-swedes who buy all their clothes at H&M and THINK they are fashion cause they read something about high weists in a shitty cheap magazine.
it's a GOOD thing when people think you are "awful", not that I want to be a "crazy" riotpunk or whatever, but I don't want the sofi fahrman-losers to think that I'm cool. that's the fucking point!!
so all you people that think that we look awful - this is how you'll look about 5 years. cause we are the trendsetters who your favorite cheap-chain-designer ripp to their next collection. fucking grey retards, you know NOTHING.
What a bunch of angry people, it is about having fun.
Yeahh Mogge!
Well said, Norwegian... It's all about having fun and finding the look that says something about YOU!
Quite apart from all the bitching, may I say your English is impeccable?
Angry people like this, jealous people like this; They are the reason I dont want to move back to Sweden!
For ones be proud!!!
Fashion is having fun, fashion can be a political message, subcultur belongings, its a lifestyle, most of all there is no right or wrong!
You dont think that you are; a little HEMMABLIND... and that he portraits Swedish fashion the way he sees it.
Gott folk HEMMABLINDA!
Thanks for a great fashion blogg!
oh well, maybe the outfits on this post can be categorized as kind of alternative clothing, but not everyone likes being a copycat of the latest outfits in fashion magazines and the mainstream fashion industry. enjoy the individuality and differences in fashion instead, and stop whining about that this isn't typical "swedish clothing" - how fun would it be if we all dressed the same? i think it's a good thing that the ordinary swedes get some influences and inspiration from others than ebba von sydow and sofi fahrman, and realize that multitude is a good thing.. instead of a bad.
Wow, so much camp!
great silver jacket..
Umm, jacket lapel of a differnt color. Fun.
oh! #3 emma johansson! lovely!
FACEHUNTER many thanks for capturing the beauty (3rd photo) and sharing it with us.
"ANONYMOUS" tanks for pointing to the Scandinavian TOP MODEL.
BTW http://stockholmstreetstyle.blogg.se/ is as cool and expressive as FACEHUNTER'S snapshots! Fashion is all about expressing yourself and not giving a sh*t how other people might judge you! Diversity is what makes it all exciting.
All the best.
Just a LondonGuy( from the cool BRICKLANE /East End)
Great face! Check it out:

Just a LondonGuy
oh, some people still didn't understood that everybody dresses the same, depending of their background, age fashion culture and state of mind, hype is everywhere the same and h&m's collections exactly the same all around the world. I'm enjoing your pictures, facehunter, cause you're doing a great job, you're a reporter of the style, and hopefully a subjective one.
Love the corset girl, she reminds me of Mr Pearl
geez, i can't believe you guys are discussing this, as if clothing is all that matters. when did personality stop matter?
